2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
3. Nature of the information
The Service provides general guidance only. It is not official government advice, professional emergency planning, or a substitute for guidance from your local authority, emergency services, or qualified professionals.
Risk scores are indicative and based on area-level data. They do not predict specific events and cannot account for all individual circumstances.
4. Free and premium content
Area reports are provided free of charge. Personalised preparedness plans are available as a one-time purchase at the price shown at the time of purchase.
- Each purchase includes up to 5 PDF generations.
- Payment is processed securely by Gumroad. We do not handle or store your payment card details.
- Due to the digital nature of the product, refunds are offered at our discretion. Contact us if you are dissatisfied and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
5. Accuracy and data sources
Reports draw on data from ONS, DESNZ, NHS, the Environment Agency, and other public sources under the Open Government Licence v3.0. We update data quarterly but cannot guarantee it is always current. We are not responsible for errors or omissions in upstream data sources.
6. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for decisions you make based on information from this Service.
- Do not rely solely on this Service for emergency planning. Always follow official guidance during an emergency.
- Do not attempt to access the Service in ways that could damage, disable, or impair it.
7. Intellectual property
The Service's design, code, and editorial content are owned by BBRL Ltd. Government data used in reports is Crown Copyright, used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. You may use your personalised PDF for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BBRL Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
